I grew up with chickens while my grandparents were alive. I never had any of my own until last year at age 55.

I currently have 14 chickens. 1 Rooster named Buddy and 13 hens.

I have 3 Barred Rock hens, 1 Barred Rock Rooster, 3 Black Jersey Giants, 1 Buff Orpington, 1 Rhode Island Red, 1 White Leghorn, 2 Golden Laced Wyandotte, and 2 Silver Laced Wyandottes.

I found out about Backyard Chickens through Facebook.

I love to hunt, fish, camp, walk the woods, gardening, flowers, and crafts. I enjoy spending time with my chickens.

I have a boyfriend. We own 14 acres with 10 of it being woods. We have a cat named Blackie. I am on disability and my boyfriend works on small engines.
