(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
We got our first batch of girls in 2015. We had 4 ISA Browns and 2 black sex links.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We currently have 15 chicks

(3) What breeds do you have?
Saphire Gem, Calico Princess, Silver Laced Wyandottd, Welsummer's, And Silver Laced Polish
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
I did an Internet search years ago about rabbits and this site came up so I kept following and learning.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
cooking, decorating/painting and refinishing old furniture. I love reading and writing and gardening as well.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
We have 2 dogs and a indoor cat. I work part time outside the house. The rest of my time time is spent taking care of my family and home.
 
Thank you. I've actually been a member since 2015, but I think forgot to introduce. Now that we're finally settled back in after moving for a family emergency, then moving back to our original house I've been using the site regularly again. I probably should go back and edit the original post to include location. I've had Chickens in Florida and Kentucky. We had way more problems in Florida with pests (sand fleas, mosquitoes etc.) and even a possum attack. We're currently in south western Kentucky, we love it here!
