(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

I’ve had chickens before but not as many as I have now.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

17 laying hens, 4 free range roosters and 4 pullets (currently in the house).

(3) What breeds do you have?

13 Barred Rock laying hens, 1 Rhoad Island Red laying hen, 1 Banty hen and 3 banty roosters, 1 rooster that I have no idea of his breed, 2 Americanas laying hens, and 4 Astrolope pullets.

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?

I often Google search questions and this site always comes up and is the most helpful.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?

I ride horses.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

It’s just me and my boyfriend with our 4 dogs, 4 horses, 1 mini donkey, and chickens.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?

I found it on a Google search. I’ve been visiting this site for a few months. I finally decided to join because I have questions.

Thank you! Yeah, we were told they were good layers. However, 10 that we purchased aren’t really laying. I posted a thread about it.
