(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

I am very new to chickens. I got my babies on 03/16

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

I have 9 chickens.

(3) What breeds do you have?

3 Buff Orpingtons, 3 Barred Plymouth Rocks and 3 Ameraucanas (but I think they might be EE's instead even though I paid more for them)

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?

Eggs and Meat.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?

Photography

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

I have one daughter who loves all things animals. We have 2 cats (1 indoor and 1 indoor/outdoor) and we have a catahoula mix dog who I'm going to have to find some way of keeping away from my chickens!

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? /

Someone on Facebook recommended that I join the group BYC and then I was googling something and came across article on website.... so obviously I knew I had found the right place!
