Thank you for adding me to this forum. I am a new chicken owner - no COVID is not responsible lol. I turned 50 this year so last year I decided I was getting chickens in the spring. I did lots of research and drafted a chicken coop with attached serenity garden for what I thought would be 6 chickens. Well chicken math as it may be, I now have 12 hens and 3 roosters! I built the hen house, attached run, serenity garden myself with minimal help from my hubby Then as the chicks grew and I got more (I started with 10 pullers), I realized that they needed more room so a enclosed a large (25. X 50 ft) chicken yard. I then made an enclosed orchard with gate for them to go out safely. It’s been a lot of work but I love it!!!
