I'm working on some Christmas carols on my trumpet... good to see a musician poultry keeper here. I don't know if my flocks like the trumpet or not, but the dogs do not care for it. They can tolerate the guitar.

I'm in Arizona, far enough north of Phoenix that it gets cold and some times snows. I have four adult andalusians and 9 midnight majesty marans who are 6 wks old now. I played clarinet in school and learned piano (a bit) recently. I am trying to get back into practice on that though.
