(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I’d say I’m relatively new, me and my mom hatched our first chickens in May of 2020. And, we both fell in love with having chickens because they are adorable.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We currently only have 6 chickens. (all hens)
(3) What breeds do you have?
We have 3 silkies, 1 salmon faverolle, and 2 Cream leg bar/Wyandotte mixes.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
They are very adorable and fun to play with. And, they give us little round gifts everyday!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I like to ride dirt bikes, hangout with friends, and play with animals.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have 3 other siblings (11,19, 24), I have 2 leopard geckos, 3 guinea pigs, 1 dog, 2 cats, and 1 lion head bunny.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found out through my mom who’s been apart for a while. And, what finally made me join was my mom kept showing me cute posts and I wanted to be able to see for myself.
