Hi, my name is Shane. My wife (Jennifer) and I are new to raising chickens.
We are looking at getting 4 hens, probably Rhode Islands Reds, but we will see.
My grandparents raised chickens when I was little, plus I like the idea if getting fresh eggs. I know that each chicken has its own unique personality and that will be cool to see/learn.
This site was highly recommended to us by the Bellevue, NE City Hall.
