Introductions--new chix!

Howdy!

We'd like to introduce two 9 week old orpingtons to our 18 week old barred rock and two leghorns. Any suggestions on how to break the ice and ease into the pecking order? Thanks in advance for your insight!

when i put new birds with older birds , i put them together at night. that way when they get up in morning they think they have been there all along

They will do best if they are close to the same size.

If you can, let them free range together in a large area.
