(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Just received my chickens this weekend
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
13 chicks, but I'm assuming with my noise by-laws I may have to rehome any cockerels that come to be....
(3) What breeds do you have?
All Bantams, 4 pure silkies, the others are a barnyard mix if silkie, cochin & serma.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Eggs are great, but I really like the companionship. They are go cuddly
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Yoga, painting, gardening, home improvements,...
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Mix family of 5, three boys all in tween - teen land. One beagle/shepard mix and a tuxedo cat. I'm a Project Control Specialist... who's not easily able to talk about herself unless she's following a guideline or answering questions.... so that ends this question!
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Good Old Google searches - only knew about it for the last 3-4 days. Kept getting BYC in all different searches I've been doing so figured it was a good site to join.
