Chirping
I have 6 chickens.....3 cockerels and 3 hens. Just incubating 6 more so fingers crossed for hens. Hours of amusement, especially as currently in lockdown, although still working.
Has been a tricky year as two cockerels diagnosed with Mareks, although they seem to be doing ok 4 months in. Still mixing with the other members of my tiny flock as chicken vet advised all will be infected by the time it was spotted
( no sign of it in the others. Have had two deaths....cried my eyes out. One in bucket of water (so be careful, the other from viral infection who I couldn't save dispite 2hourly syringeing of food (gruel and electrolytes) over four days.
I have 4 Brahmas and 2 mixed breeds. Vinnie, Jarvis, Oswald, Stella, Betty, Bunty.
I also own and ride two horses, Dylan and Harry, have two dogs Dougal and Ernie and two cats Dolly and Dottie. So despite lockdown am kept busy.
