Welcome to BYC! There’s so many helpful, knowledgeable folks here and I’m sure you’ll find this site a very useful resource. In answer to your question, yep I have the same problem. I always end up posting too early because the keyboard closes and I press the “post” button instead Glad I’m not the only one.

For now you may want to use the browser of your device to access this website.
Have you tried to uninstall the app then reinstall it yet?

Double check to make sure your device is up to date.
I just had to install an update last night on my Apple device.

It's up to date. I stopped using the website because of the pop up always telling me to get the app.

I keep on hitting "upload a file" by accident. It's pretty frustrating because it takes forever to get a post done and posted.

Try uninstalling it.

Sorry you're having problems with the app. Which version of iOS are you on?

because of the pop up always telling me to get the app.

Hmm... that's odd. We don't have any popups or notices to download our app. We've seen reports of rogue ads (on many mobile sites) that have a generic "Download the app" banner ad. Is that maybe what you saw? Again, we don't have anything showing to people on the site to promote the apps for BYC.
