This is the best marked Charcoal I've ever seen. All the proper melanizer reducers are there. This is what I've been waiting to see. A chestnut colored chick that grows up with this much white on the body. Get a male to match her and you'll have captured the original color perfectly. The male will have a pale duckwing pattern on his secondaries, and a hackle that lacks any white in it (which will produce the coveted "mane" the old timers talked about), and the saddle will lack black in it as well. Definitely keep me in the loop on this pullet.

The darker pullet, while melanizer reducers are present, I wouldn't do much with her.
