Since my sex link hen is all iridescent feathers, I know that you can have them on a hen. But, what about in Ameraucanas? Are iridescent tail feathers ALWAYS a roo in Ameraucanas?

Not always. I had a hen who was pretty dark and she had the greenish purple metallic sheen to her feathers. We bred her with a golden laced wyandotte roo and got one big gorgeous baby out of it who looks just like a golden laced wyandoote but with the beard like the ameraucana.

After reading your question and then thinking more about it, I decided to go take a better look at a couple of my hens and I found that I have a year old Ameracuana with the green Iridescent tail feathers.

Just wanted you to know that it can happen
