Irregular pipping?

My first egg pipped today, but the crack wasn't pushed up much. It's more a hairline crack a couple inches long. Another chick pipped and the crack looks "normal." Should I be concerned? It's day 21 now.

Try sending a picture maybe? it could be the chick pipping around the egg an you might not really see any action even though there could be a lot. Everything might just be happening inside the egg!

I think you're right! My sister and I were sitting next to it and heard a crack, so we looked in and the hole was bigger!
Ps I would try to send a picture but my phone wouldn't show the crack when I took some pictures

He/she's gotten pretty far now, so all is well
