Irritated Skin

I have a 6 week old standard Cochin that has some skin irritation on his belly. Is it bugs or just from being damp maybe? (The ducks make such a mess and they share the coop at night)

It's could be mites. I would dust them with something like diotine powder. I'm not sure if I know the names people says it good for dusting. The it and see if it works.

Move the ducks to a new location! Clean things up and fix the dampness issue before worse happens. Mites or lice can be hard to find; try looking with a flashlight around their vents at night. I encourage my chicks to roost by putting them up there in the evenings, if there's no broody or flockmates to show them what to do. Mary

Thank you. We are moving ducks out soon, even though the ducks get really loud when I take them away from the chicks. I will look with flash light for mites.
