Ohh ok I tried looking else were but no body was selling them so this is the only guy.Plus feed is getting expensive and if it were me personally trying to sell them I would price them up at $5.00 to make a decent profit. So I guess this guy is ok then, its not like I am going to be buying from him every year I just want some nice breeding stock.
I start at a $1 at a week old and go up $1 until 7 weeks...so if they want a laying hen...it will be $7 for the hen and $5 for the male (I should update my website). People in Fort Myers understand that. Of course the colors, the birds will be more.

this about what I do locally except 8 for the hen and 6 for the male the guy I bought my Jumbo Bobs from was asking 8 PER BIRD BUT i BOUGHT A COUPLA pairs and he cut me some slack I sold 25 coturnix a coupla weeks ago and did not charge the guy but 6 a bird st run but a few of them had just started laying
With bobs it depends very much on the breeder, around $20-25 a bird is what I see mostly if you can find anyone who sells them in the first place. Buy'em at the spring and fall sales and you easily pair $80+ a pair for regular bobs. Last fall I have bid on a trio until it got to $175 then I quit, not worth it.
If your in the right area raising Coturnix lets you break even, where I am at I can't give'em away...... gotta drive them to the Sales that are 8-10 hrs away(one way) to get any money really. I rather just throw'em in my own freezer.
These prices are all CAN$ but the way the US$ stands right now it amounts to the same.
YES CURRENCIES ARE PRETTY MUCH ON A LEVEL PLAYING FIELD BUT CANADA'S COST OF LIVING MAKES OURS PALE IN COMPARISON... IT ALWAYS HAS- THERE'S YOUR PRICE DIFFERENCE. THATS WHY I ALWAYS SAY THAT PRICE IS A REGIONAL THING
