The quote he gave me is $3,800 for labor only.
I am wondering is that a reasonable price?

This might actually be a high ball 'we don't want the job' quote.

CT is stupid expensive, but I do think it's on the high side. I would for sure contact a couple more people & get quotes & see & then you'll know. Look for handyman guys on your local FB page maybe. If you can get anyone to get back to you & then actually show up, lol.

So now I got it down to $2,300. I didn’t find any other quote, because I couldn’t find anyone else yet, or the ones I found never reply back. I asked around my church people, I don’t have anyone yet. Sooo……

I feel like that's much better than the $3800. I understand it's so hard to get anyone to call you back around here, never mind show up. We put in mini split ACs a couple years ago, I must have called 10 companies (on recommendations!) & only 2 ever showed up for quotes.

I also live in CT and paid about $2,000? Maybe a little more. To convert a shed into a coop was $600, then I had them build a run although my boyfriend and his family worked on it as well to reduce costs. They really just added a roof for us. I'll attach a picture as soon as I find it!
