4 foot is nice because you can get a wheelbarrow through the doorway. You can also carry a large dog crate in without having to take it apart.

I don't think so that is what ours are so that we can get the wheelbarrow easily in and out for cleaning, adding gravel, and taking in garden weeds, ect. I guess though it is all in what you plan on doing in your coop and run.

I have two four foot doors and I love them Im able to get my wheel barrel in and out easily.
