Only if he looks like this...

Mice are the largest spreader of deer ticks in the Northeast. If I remember correctly, they also spread some kind of disease in West a couple of years back. I do know that there is some kind of blue tilting trap where the mouse can enter and then the trap tilts so that the mouse isn't killed if that bothers you. However, should you decide to relocate the mouse, please be sure to do it at least a mile away from where you live because they can find their way home. I don't think that the owners of the next residence will be particulary happy, but...

I have a mouse problem also, even though I've put all of the feed into lidded trash cans. I just put out 4 glue traps today. My hens just watch them scurry through the room. The mice are getting braver, running out in broad daylight!

I like old fashioned mouse traps best. Not only are they effective bu they appeal to my gadgety side. They need to be used with caution around chickens, though, since they can maybe set them off.
Thats why I like the bucket trap as an alternative. Cheap, non toxic and effective.

Ya know - I've posted before about my mouse and snake problem and still have tons of mice. They poop all over everything and it's so gross - in the waterers, grit, food...
I know my dear Hansel and Gretel are ingesting it when they peck on the dirt floor of the barn.

I've left one (that I know of) black snake in the barn, tried the Mouse Magic (I don't think I bought enough to be effective) and would like to know more about this bucket trap. Is this the method where the mice drown? I don't remember how to make one. Can you tell me again, please?

And yes, if there is one mouse, there are lots more!!!!
