Is a quail hatchery a thing?

Also you said something about breeds. Quails are different to chickens and they don’t have breeds. There are species like king/button quail, Japanese/Coturnix quail, Californian quail, and heaps of others. Within the species there are mutations of different colours which are all really pretty! The wild/pharaoh colour mutation is the most common but there are lots of others! You can breed the different colours and unlike ‘breeds’ that will mix these won’t give a mix colour as such so you wouldn’t call them mixed. :) I hope you get some! They’re amazing! Update us on your quail journey! :)

I hope I'm able to get some. I'm really interested in California Quail and Button Quail. I didn't realize the weren't 'breeds' so thank you for that bit of knowledge!

No I don't care! More questions you ask the less dumb I have to sound!
:highfive:

Yeah, Myshire is the only one I know of. I have successfully vent sexed day old quail chicks with 95% accuracy in 20+ chicks.
