Is anyone else hatching all winter long?

When we go down for Christmas and Thanksgiving, the kids always pack shorts and we have to sleep with a window open because they cook us. It is like a mini vacation! Now they don't always WEAR the shorts, but just in case they are having those 60 degree days we want to enjoy them!

When I lived in Florida, I decided to come to Ky and IN for a visit. I was 7 months pregnant, and it was the middle of August, so you would think I would have been just fine right? Thank goodness my sister had just had a baby! She gave me all her winter maternity clothes! I was FREEZING!!! After that I learned to make sure I took at least one pair of pants for everyone, and a hoodie as well!

I have two bators going right now. they have been going for two months.
I have silkies and frizzles hatching tonight. one frizzle is out already.

I have recently discovered my favorite hen is a rooster and that my eggs are fertile. Sooooooo, I have 6 of these eggs in the other bator.
I put the last of chicks that were inside, outside today, made them thier own run and little coop.
I am having too much fun to stop for the winter.
Oh, my husband told me today that our banty rooster has matured and is now interested in our banty hens, so........ I see eggs in my bator again!
