My daughter will be starting preschool in September. I'm a stay at home mom...counting the days down. I just might get a speeding ticket on the way to drop her off kiddin

I am currently homeschooled- although I'll learn all year. Indeed, there's a summer vacation, but I'll still grasp new things when I have the chance to.
My poor Mother, though, there's no shipping me off. I'm always around the house. I'm always baaack because I never even left.

Although, two and a half hrs isnt much. Its better then nothing. They did away with half day kindergarten here. So next year will be a blast!

I love it when kids go back to school. Otherwise they are racing through Walmart knocking displays and shoppers down, riding the bikes through the store, playing volleyball over the everyones head.

I never liked school. Seemed like a pointless prison for children. I never found it challenging or saw a reason to be there. Now i sit at work and feel the same. My joy is found in working towards self sustainability. School just prepares you to work to make money. I wish i had gone to a school that taught actual life skills like gardening, canning,etc....

School already started here. No, i do not attend school. Got my degree in Biology.

I have no youngins.... and I ain't signed up for no learnin' recently....

but my wife was saying that this would be a good time to go to the state fair, now that the kids are back in school...still seems like it might be too 'peopley' for my taste... but I might risk it

We still have another nearly 3 weeks and my eldest due to exams at his Lycée has been off since mid June and the middle late June (also for exams) and the little one since early July so it has been a loooooooooooooooong time . My little one has even been asking this week if he is going to school today

Overall very much looking forward to it so I can get on without the 3 year old, we have so much to do renovating our house. Not looking forward to the 50km round trip each afternoon to get the eldest (there is no bus to the town he goes to school ) so we car share with another family.
