Is Anyone Hatching on March 13th??

I have found that running a humidifier in the room the incubator is in will sometimes help your humidity!..Not sure where you are located but I am in Ohio and the house can be dry at this time of year!

Hello Laura, so where in Ohio are you? I'm close to Ashland and Wooster. Out of 16. 3 has hatched, one died half way through zipping. One zipping and 2 pips. Hope everyone has a good hatch.

Hello Michele,

I am in Ashtabula County in Northeast Ohio up by the lake...

I have 3 pips out of 30 eggs...They are on day 20 today ...Nothing else happening for now...Geesh this is going to be a long night...Just wish I could forget them and walk away for a while...

Happy Hatching everyone!

i wrote big numbers on the tops of all my eggs before lockdown so i know if they've moved or not, nope. i'm thinking of downloading chick noises and playing it next to the incubator, maybe they'll want to come out and join their friends!

Question: 4 out of 41 hatched today. 7 pips now and no progress at all this evening. The problem is in the afternoon a chick pipped, zipped and was totally wet. It died in the shell so I quickly took it out. Would it "poison" the others still in the shell?

one hatched! one with a pip! this little guy looks like the egg is still attached to his bum, like a cord or something. no idea whats normal but does this sound ok?? no blood..

yay another pip!! kind of closer to the middle of shell, isnt that not that good? other pip hasnt done anything else, hmmm

my temp keeps going up in the incubator!!! The room temp is staying normal, so they must be doing something inside those eggs... but I keep checking it and almost every couple hours I have to turn it back down a bit, like even right now its gone from 99 to 100.9 in maybe the last 40 minutes... what's going on???
