I'm off for a bit and there has been too much action on here. Congrats to all of you with baby chicks. It was like an explosion on here! We have four little chicks ourself. I was so busy yesterday that I didn't even get a chance to get on here or worry too much which was probably good. I had one chirping (very loudly I might add) all day yesterday and it had a pip hole in the morning, but didn't hatch out until 1:20 last night so it can take them a while. Then between 6-8am I had three hatch out. They are so cute. I now have 1 araucana (black) and 3 bantams (brown). The bantams are so small! I also have 4 more pipping and zipping! Hopefully I will be closer to home today and not stressing since yesterday went so well. (I can dream can't I).

Sonew- sorry about the loss. I imagine we will all go through that at sometime during this hatch and I'm already dreading it. So sorry.

Yippee for Chickenlove. I can't wait to see some pics of these cute little babies. We now have six chicks. My triplets just got to see one come out of its shell and they were so excited. I will try and get a few pics and post them too.
