Ahh yes they're about 12 weeks old, I wasn't keeping track when I first got them, but yeah there are plenty of feathers flying around the coop so I guess they're molting now! All this is so exciting, I'm new to chickensTheir coloring will generally be the same. Expect to see feathers lying around at roughly 13 weeks of age - this is when they go through a juvenile molt. Size wise, they will get bigger and bulkier.
Aw thank you! Now I don't have to just say "Umm they're brown?" This helps alot!They look like production or Rhode Island Reds. They'll probably look very similar as adults, maybe a little more red and a little less white. Pretty girls!
They're about 12 weeks old now so not long till eggs! YayI have two that were pure white as chicks, but are now 22 weeks old and look just like yours. Both of them started laying at 17 weeks.
