Is Betty a Bertie?

Betty is 12 weeks old. Number two in the pecking order. Haven’t heard any crowing (or any attempts at crowing). Not sure of breed — two of the roosters we got Betty from look to be Leghorn and Buff Orpington. She/He is huge! Bigger than my year-old ladies.

I wish we didn’t have to but we can’t have roosters in town. We’re hoping one of our son’s friends will take him.

I understand, alot of towns don't allow them. Hopefully your son's friend will take him. Sorry she was a he
