is blu/red kote safe for egg laying hens?

hello,
my hen gertie eitheris a feather picker or has mites or im not sure. im spreaying her and the coop with mite bug spray. ive read blue/red kote will help her bald spots heal??? it says on the label not safe for food producing animals???just wanted to know what everyone thinks before i use it~~~

I spray my layers wounds with blue-kote and never had a problem with the eggs..... I thought it was safe for poultry, but then again never read the label....

anyway, we've ate the eggs and have had no side effects...

be careful if you use the blu-kote. I used it on one of my chicks and the vent area got clogged now she is worse than she was before.
