Yes, in short, Brutus is a mixed breed; but what kind? I really don't know!

All I know is he is gorgeous! He has quite a pair of wattles on him!

I don't know if any hatcheries offer Cream Legbars, but if they do, maybe he could be a hatchery Legbar?

I have to say that the Legbar just popped into my mind when I saw the picture, even though they don't match completely.

I'd guess either a Legbar (maybe silver or gold) cross or a Barred (Cuckoo in the U.K.)Leghorn cross.

He is a Cuckoo Leghorn and might have some Mottled in him also.

Thank you all, he is rather splendid and we do spend far too long watching him jump from fence to floor in his very flamboyant way - not sure if anyone has described a chicken as flamboyant before!
