Is BYC Experiencing Cabin Fever?

We are going to be in the bait and switch this week.
Nice for Monday and Tuesday then snow all day Wednesday.

We will get there......eventually.......maybe.

That's what we're looking at too...a possible 5" of snow on Wednesday.

Speckles chicks hatched friday/Saturday. Only got two. Two were not fertile and two were quitters.

Once you see them with a mommy it is very hard to think of raising them any other way.

:love
True! The two eggs that weren't fertile were crosses from an araucana roo and a cuckoo Maran. I wanted them for some nice olive eggers. I'll try again in a few months but most definately with a broody again! I have two Brahmas and two cochin bantams so no shortage of broodies! There was no worrying about temps, humidty, power outages or anything. The only thing I worried about was that she didn't get of the nest for a poo for the first 4 days!

I still haven't figured out the biological function to hot flashes. I believe they happen only to drive old ladies insane. :he
Well they're pretty good at freezing everybody else in the house to death and sending mixed messages to the husband.
Mine seems to think streaking through the house in my undies and fanning like a looney is a romantic invite...it really isn't.:barnie

:lau Your right, it keeps my heat bill low in winter. My poor husband, I run a fan on myself all night, plus I turn the heat down.
