Is BYC Experiencing Cabin Fever?

I don't think mine is necessarily cabin fever. More of situational stresses. It seems my peak times of aggravation are usually caused by interactions with certain people. The more aggravated I get the more I tend to see things that get me even more riled. None of it's new stuff. Same old world spinning in the same old way.

Amen! Funny how "certain people" can just really get under our skin.

Thank you! I've seen 4 ducklings so far, but she is still sitting on more eggs. I had a few girls adding to the nest and thought I picked the eggs closest to each other in development, so hopefully she will be done soon.

I have a question...why is it that the harder you try to avoid someone, the more of their posts you see? There's no getting away, no thread is safe!

It's weird, isn't it WV? I could be having a great conversation on how to grow strawberries in Siberia and this someone would pop in to say cold gives them a headache and they're allergic to strawberries.

I don't get it. I've given up on a couple of my favorite threads because of the annoyance. Oh well

Also my experiance. But I really dont think the person I'm thinking of even has chickens or has ever had them. Dont think they have any animals at all, but likes to weigh in and give backassward advice?!

Honestly all the things that kids aren't getting to learn these days frightens me. Basic life skills are being completely ignored. What happened to all the cooking classes? Home Ec? Basic Ag? Why is it that the 400 year history of another country is now more important than learning to feed yourself, sew your clothing, grow a garden, learning to drive or prepare your taxes? All of these were on the outs when I was still in school. Some I learned myself, most my mother taught me. Nowadays though it seems schools and most parents don't care to pass on any such skills and it boggles my mind. It's just...sad.

Consumer driven society.
Why do anything yourself when you can just buy it?
It's sad, and quite terrifying to me.

I wonder if that's why some folks believe that factory raised meat and factory packaged eggs don't really come from animals because it's all made in a factory, duh!

There is a person who will like every singe post in every thread on a certain forum, except mine. She will even like the posts that quote my posts, but not like my actual original post. Do you think that's intentional? I wonder what I did wrong?

I wouldn't think anything of it anywhere else, but it's very obvious.

It happens to me a tad more than sometimes my sense of humour doesn’t necessarily travel well
