blink 2x and you'll be as out of touch as the rest of us. :plbb

one correction:
I googled your list and realized I have seen Ender's Game... I just didn't remember that was the name...

I thought it was called "that Harrison Ford movie where there are kids doing playing video games for training... or something" ...

lol, I can't even remember the plot enough to finish that joke .... maybe I should watch it again, it'd be like a new movie!

The movie is soooop different from the book! Not bad, just different.

I still haven't been able to bring myself to watch the dark tower  dh won't watch the hobbit series with me after listening to me huff and puff through the first one :duc

Oh what's it called.... Chronicle series? Something like that...
Watched that horror series when I was around 8 I think. Had me so scared that I couldn't sleep for WEEKS.

I had a hard time reading the Hobbit in my youth too. I wanted to like it so bad, but it just wasn't an easy read for me. I still have the book, but I don't think any of my kids have tried to read it yet.
its a difficult read because he was a nineteenth century professor... and a philologist... Someone who studies languages....

But once you get through the first chapter it gets easier as you become accustomed to his style
