Thanks! Will be even better when we have some more windows (problem being in a barn LOL!) and an indoor bathroom even better! What a great looking place you have! Must be a lot of work, but very rewarding to see it all come together.

I just watched our forecast.
We are in for a very cold week. Single digits at night and 20's in the day.
That's insanity inducing.![]()
Same here and it will dropping into the negatives at night.![]()
I miss spring.
I will have to try hard to not lose my ever lovin mind this week.
We haven't even hit our snowy month yet.![]()
Congrats on the new ducklings WV! Is a baby Call about the same size as a baby quail?
Sorry you lost yours Flappy, you had that one boy a long, long time. I have 3 indoor cats and apparently a 4th one that's adopted us is living in the garage. These are my 3:

Hi, no I dont' think I have so you here go! This is the northern end where we live - when we are done we'll have 5 bedrooms and one big long living space:

This is the middle section (and oldest - according to research this bit could be from as early as in the 1600s or as late as 1700's with the stone steps and stone sink inside) - this is where we are doing the first holiday rental (yes to rent out for tourists):

This is the 'big barn' at the other end - we want to eventually renovate this too into another rental - should be able to get 4 beds - it is pretty huge (hard to tell by the pics - I come up to not much over the horizontal bit of wood on the door to try to give scale):

Some of the scale of renovations - this is the 'door' we have knocked through between the kitchen and bathroom in the holiday rental - the wall is 60cm (about 2ft) thick!

They are a bit bigger than quail! Probably about the size of a large bantam, or small standard chicken.
I didn’t know you had a 3rd cat! Very pretty!! My husband always hated cats but he actually mentioned maybe getting one, when our oldest dog dies.
Love the house @PouleChickHi, no I dont' think I have so you here go! This is the northern end where we live - when we are done we'll have 5 bedrooms and one big long living space:
