Is BYC Experiencing Cabin Fever?

Pics
I miss spring. :(

I will have to try hard to not lose my ever lovin mind this week.

We haven't even hit our snowy month yet. :he

You and I probably get about the same weather with you in north CO and me in south WY. This is the snowiest and windiest winter we've experienced since moving here in 2016!

Congrats on the new ducklings WV! Is a baby Call about the same size as a baby quail?

Sorry you lost yours Flappy, you had that one boy a long, long time. I have 3 indoor cats and apparently a 4th one that's adopted us is living in the garage. These are my 3:

They are a bit bigger than quail! Probably about the size of a large bantam, or small standard chicken.

I didn’t know you had a 3rd cat! Very pretty!! My husband always hated cats but he actually mentioned maybe getting one, when our oldest dog dies.

Hi, no I dont' think I have so you here go! This is the northern end where we live - when we are done we'll have 5 bedrooms and one big long living space:

This is the middle section (and oldest - according to research this bit could be from as early as in the 1600s or as late as 1700's with the stone steps and stone sink inside) - this is where we are doing the first holiday rental (yes to rent out for tourists):

This is the 'big barn' at the other end - we want to eventually renovate this too into another rental - should be able to get 4 beds - it is pretty huge (hard to tell by the pics - I come up to not much over the horizontal bit of wood on the door to try to give scale):

Some of the scale of renovations - this is the 'door' we have knocked through between the kitchen and bathroom in the holiday rental - the wall is 60cm (about 2ft) thick!

That’s fabulous!! I love it!

I just watched our forecast. :(
We are in for a very cold week. Single digits at night and 20's in the day.

That's insanity inducing. :barnie

Insanity...and more Cabin Fever. Lol!

We never set out to have 3 cats, guess they're kind of like poultry...they just happen :p

First we got Bam Bam (the gray boy). He was terribly unhappy being an only so we got Pip (the black girl). They're either 1/2 siblings or full...the place we got them from had 2 females that had a total of 18 kittens.

Then around Thanksgiving 2 years ago, Opie (the orange) showed up at our door. He was starving, filthy and all big eyes. Apparently someone had dumped him. He's now the biggest, orneriest boy who loves to torment the other 2.

DH and I will some day add a dog to the mix but with our crazy work schedules (especially in the summer) we figured cats are easier. And they are a lot of fun! I love all 3 of them, they're a lot of company out here in the boondocks of WY.
