Is BYC going to upgrade?

Don't even get me going on the computer crap they put in vehicles nowadays. :old
x2! Perhaps it's the paranoid prepper in me, but I am not very happy about electronics becoming essential for vehicle operation. So many parts that break so easily. Plus, now I can't do much of my own car maintenance.

...however, I am still excited for the BYC upgrade, even if I am a bit of a curmudgeon about cars. I'm looking forward to some of the new features that'll be possible afterwards. :fl

Pfffft!
Put down the phone and drive! :old:old:old

They lost me when they mandated the $100 tire stem....
....it failed and I had to pay to replace it. BS!!
I don't even have a driver's licence

So am I, I still think the process of upgrading is fun :p
Also, who doesn't like learning new software? I did a lot work on the switch from Huddler to XF a few years ago, even though I had less than 6 months of experience using XF as an admin before that.

Why on earth would I want to learn new software when the new stuff cannot do what my old stuff does simply?
It's true that some newer versions of software can be bad. The developers that make XenForo used to develop another forum software, called vBulletin, but then vBulletin got bought by another company, and the developers wanted to rewrite it from scratch, but the company didn't want to, so the developers left, and started their own company (XenForo). The newest version of vBulletin, vB5, is pretty awful. It's very resource intensive and slow, and is just overall garbage, IMO.

However, I have used XenForo 2, and I don't find it more complex to use than XenForo 1, and I find it to be better software overall.
