Is Daisy actually a Dave?

Hi there,
im new at keeping chickens. We bought this one as a POL pullet but her comb has grown massively and she is not laying yet, 6 months on. she doesn’t crow but behaves a little different to the others. Could it be a rooster?

I'm not familiar with this breed, however I do not see male specific feathering. Could be laying any day with the red comb. At best I'm bumping the thread for someone with more expertise. @Overo Mare? Is this breed in your wheel house?

In my opinion it’s a barred rock,male.I’ve had 2 of these over the past 3 years,they’re quite recognisable for their black and white strips.

It doesn't seem to have any male feathers, I'd assume pullet. Just because the comb and wattles are big doesn't mean it is a rooster.
If her/his neck and tail feathers start to become pointed it usually mean rooster.
But at six mouths with no sickle/hackle is a good indicator that she/he is female.

Yes. I think that by now she would have saddle feathers, shinier neck feathers and little curved tail feathers

Then I would expect the owner to fool me with black mottled ones.

She's a pullet. Hang in there, she'll give you eggs eventually
