One of my younger pullets has been acting very strange, she stands on one leg all puffed up and randomly freezes, it’s been going on for two days, but she runs around, eats, drinks and stays with the flock, no signs of illness or leg injuries, two days ago there was blood around her earlobe and neck but I checked and didn’t see an injury so I guessed it was from a mouse or something she caught, I’ve seen her chasing them before, she was also holding her wing weird but that stopped later that day.
She is not laying yet, only four or five months old, she’s a Prairie bluebell and fully vaccinated as well, could it be the rooster? Or the weather changes?

Spend some more time with the flock to observe them. Is she holding up one leg and then the other? She might be cold. It could be the rooster or other hens are harassing her. Look for any swelling , green bruising, or redness of the legs or feet, and look at foot pads for any bumblefoot scabs.

I’ll check her tonight, she’s impossible to catch during the day.
she’s the top of my pecking order and my rooster is rather small… a silkie but he just recently matured.
I think she holds up the left, I was thinking she could be cold but today is the warmest it’s been in awhile and she was acting fine when it was colder
