Is Drake Scolding ?

I have two female Pekins that have a mild case of bumble foot. I was sitting in their house holding each one to treat their feet and my drake came over and and was pecking at the female I was holding, he actually stood on my legs and hovered over her and kept pecking at her. Strange?

The thing that Has me confused is the fact that he’s pecking at the one I am holding, I would think if he was upset with me he would be pecking at me? I asked my husband what he thought and his response was…
“I don’t know.....I’m not a Duck”
