) Those raging teenage hormones do slow down after a while. Dutch probably "needed" them all when he was a teenager, and now that he is more mature, he has mellowed a little? I am just guessing. The only thing that surprises me is that Dutch didn't defend his girls if they were unhappy with Levi.
Same with Thor- even though he is younger. Maybe some roos hormones settle down faster than others. Or can a chicken feel sorry for another chicken? "Poor fellow isn't getting any, I guess I can share"???? (Is that an acceptable way to say it?)

I have noticed Luke and Ultrasuede run to see whats up when the girls protest being mated, ( and ALL the girls protest) but they stand and observe each other mating. Voyeurs. They don't seem to take ownership of any particular girl but share them equally.

Hope your poor girls have recovered from the trauma!!

Well, as we were putting the birds in for the night, Levi got it into his head to grab Gypsy, who was at the feeder chowing down before bed. Big mistake, big. She jerked out of his grasp, turned on him with a vengeance, hackles flared and blood in her eye. He ran screaming just as Dutch made it to the door between the two sections to see what that young upstart was doing to one of his girls. When he saw Gypsy had it under control, he turned and left.

Levi started his biting thing just before that. Tom was encouraging some of the ladies through the gate and carrying his length of PVC pipe with him like a rod. Levi came up and bit him on the leg and got whacked hard with the PVC, LOL. After that, when inside, he kept asking for Tom's attention and trying to get close to him. Then, while Tom was petting him, Shadow, my banty Cochin, ran over on the bar where Levi was standing and leaning against Tom and was biting his feet, LOL. You could just see her saying, "Hold him, Daddy! I'll teach him a lesson!"
