Is Fertrell DE always Food-Grade?

I bought some at Uncle Luke's in Troy, MI. It's in a brown bag, and it does not say food grade anywhere on the bag, but the feed store told me they are positive it is food grade and they are not sure why that's not printed on the bag. It does say Fertrell on the bag.

Just want to make double sure before I use it in the coop... speaking of which, should I just sprinkle some around inside in the deep litter?

Thanks. I ended up e-mailing Fertrell, and they e-mailed me back and said if it is their product, it is food grade.

I'm guessing the feed store must buy a big bag and split it up. It has a sticker on the front that has Fertrell on it and all the warnings, but the bag doesn't have any printing on it. It's not a "perma guard" bag.
