Is Ficus Branch Toxic?

I got a nice thick branch for my hens to perch on today. It was from a large tree that was being cut down and it had the perfect bend to it. The chickens really enjoyed perching on it and pecking at it. Well I looked up if ficus is ok for them and then panicked because I saw some info online saying it was toxic. Something about the sap? I removed the large branch from their coop but now that I’ve had a moment to research more I am finding contradicting information. Does anyone here know for certain whether or not a ficus branch would be toxic to them? I’ve attached a photo. Thanks so much!

I would not risk it with those beautiful hens.

If you're worried about sap, set it aside somewhere to dry for a few months and it shouldn't be an issue.

Yes ficus is toxic to chickens. I would remove asap.
