What do ya think is he a keeper. He is 20 weeks and was bought as a SR bantie.

He's pretty! Don't know much about the standards for that breed, but he's a handsome guy!

Well I don't even know what breed he is but have been told Buff Brama Bantam.

I would keep him. But, I keep the chickies I think are pretty. I don't worry about standards. I do not show chickens. He is quite a looker. I would definatly keep him!

Thanks for the compliments. I think he looks great and am planning to keep him as my only roo. I don't show and really don't care about standards. At this point I just go for what looks good to me.
You really can't tell in the pic but his comb is quite pink in color. Hope that is not an indication of what kind of roo he will be (lol) since we already have 2 girl friends for him in the spring.

straight run. in other words he was a grab bag and I had no idea if I was getting a pullet or roo. I got lucky out of 3 banties I bought I got 2 pullets and this one for a roo.

Pretty is as pretty does. If your girls like him and he's pleasant to be around, he's a keeper. If not--he's dinner!
