Is he pretty? Or ugly? Please help us decide!

What are their names?
Here's another picture of "Baby" with my 11 year old son, who's thinking of renaming him something more appropriate:

Here's how he looks all alone on a perch; he doesn't have the graceful "doopy" feathers like DannyBoy, but DS says he's the more attractive of the two. What do you think?

OK, last post of DannyBoy's beautiful luminescence, he shines like an opal from white to blue, but I don't know how to get it to show up in pics:
Here, he's just drooping his elegant long feathers around the roost:

He's like my little dog -- Shi Tzu/Bosten Terrier/Pug cross. Everyone says, "Oh how cute." No one says, "My how handsome."

Of course he's beautiful. What's wrong with his face? Very pleasant and expressive, to my eye. I'll take him! Oh, too far....

Picture? Must see handsome little dog.

I'm so new at this, I can't figure out how to get the picture in my response to you. I'll keep working on it.

OH HOW COOL! Your pretty boy is a lot like DannyBoy's older brother, "Baby" who's 4 months old in this picture. How old is yours in that photo? How long did it take for that golden mane to fully come in? "Baby" has a little, it looks cool. I think we're onto something good.

Ours make very good pets, do yours? Its lucky they're working out to be nice birdies:
"Baby" is the top one

they're probably about a year old in the photo. his dad has the "mane" also, and the cross (named darkflight) got it almost as soon as his adult feathers came in, but with every molt it is getting darker

. his dad's mane took a little longer, maybe 1 1/2 or 2 years and it's still kind of pale. i think we've got the makings of a new breed here
