I have a little rooster name Gimli he is about to be 7 weeks old he started crowing at 5 weeks old and earlier today I saw him grab a chicken by the neck and jumped on it twice And he is doing what my other rooster is doing the older rooster will grab the hens by the neck to mate so I think Gimli is trying to mate I am not sure.
