Is incubation time for eggs the same when they're under a broody hen as when they're in an incubator

Sorry i havent been on for a while, yesterday i was on and i had started replying but the power went off, like it does all the time in the summer because everybody is wasting everything.
somad.gif

I laugh to when i think of me crawling through all of it, but when i am actually doing it i get very cramby.
tongue.png

I am thinking of destroying all the nests that they have made and making some nice, easy to get to nests, so that they have no place to lay the eggs other than there.
I just have a small shovel to clean it with, i crawl under there and just start shovelling poop up, when i am done i wash it out with water and then i have to start all over again a week later, i dont mind it that much, it is actually kind of fun because i dont get to spend much time with them over the summer so that is basically my chicken time because i am in there for like an hour.
I use braches to, yesterday i went and got some more from outside and threw the old ones away, they dont poop so much on the braches as they do on the floor under the braches, even my two little chicks, i cleaned their cage out today and there was sooo much poop under their roost!
I dont mind sifting dirt so much when it is not windy, but when it is windy and the sand blows in my eyes ugh i cant even stay out there for ten minutes.
Haha that would be fun if i made like a chicken habitat, the tourist would stop to take pictures, can you imagine.
lau.gif

Did you see how the chick got up yet, mine jump very far so i wouldnt be surprised if that is how he got up, if you didnt catch him again, try taking him down and then pretending to leave so you can see how he gets up, i am really curious.
Yeah, i am lucky, i can get away from people i dont like when ever i want with some lame excuses.
tongue.png

I hate fleas sooo much, that is why i am so careful with the dogs, especially Roxy because she is in the house, i couldnt imagine someone bringing their flea ridden dog into MY house when i tell them not to.
somad.gif
sickbyc.gif

Yeah that is a very good idea, is Buddy friendly around other dogs?
She sounds like such a delight (
gig.gif
) the kids are from different fathers, how many does she have?
Make sure they dont hang around Emma and Evie to much.
tongue.png

I dont really believe in ghosts but i would love to hear some stories!
Well my post is going to be a mile long because i have some bad news and some good news, bad news first.
Bad news: So i was outside, collecting the eggs, feeding the chickens when i realize my hen with the 5 older chicks is gone (btw one of the seven oldest ones was killed by something, dont know what just found it dead out of its cage and another one got out of the cage and went to the hen with the five chicks and she took it as her own, so basically she has six chicks now) so i go looking for my hen and eventually i found her in the field scratching around so i collect them and put them back in their cage when i notice it is getting a bit small for them, i think the mom will leave them soon because they are a month and a half old, i am thinking of putting them and the 5 oldest ones together but i dont have a pen that is big enough for all of them so i have a nice little "space" for them but it is soooo dirty, so yesteday i decided to clean it out and today i have to make a cover for it because it is open and they can jump out. To get an idea this "space" has a little inside room and then a little outside room, i put a couple of roosts in the inside room and i am going to have their food and water in the outside room, so well i was doing all of that i hear peeping so i go out to check and i see two of the oldest chicks fighting so i separate them and i see one has blood driping out of its eye, i go inside and clean it and then make a little area for him so they dont keep pecking him, today i went to check on him and he still has his eye (phew) i think that is how the other chick lost its eye, oh and one of the 6 younger ones lost its eye to.
Good news: I thought my chick season was over because it is to hot for any hen to be broody and i didnt get the incubator set like i wanted because i used that money on some more wire for the chicks that i do have so i was a bit sad, when all of a sudden, can you guess the rest, it is like i story that i have told before. Ok i will tell you, i hear peeping so i follow it to my fig tree, not the one that i found my other hen in, another one that is even bigger (
he.gif
) so i start looking for the chicks well i found them, there are six, five black ones and one yellow one, she is balck so she must have layed all the eggs on her own and i have a white rooster that i lost a while ago so i think i now where he is, i really have to get rid of those fig trees... I didnt manage to catch her because she dissapeared into the fig tree so i am going to go in the afternoon. I wonder how many chickens are out of the pen and laying eggs because they have lots of chicks. The mom of these chicks is Clucker and Peeps mom to, she is a really good mom! I guess i have to build another coop...
I have no idea how they are all getting out of their coops, there must be a hole or something, i will go check today, tomorrow i will see if i can get some workers to cut back my fig trees and see how many chickens are hiding there...

That's crappy that you have to worry about blackouts like that! What a pain in the butt! You know as far out in the middle of nowhere as we are we've only lost power a few times and it was never for more than a few minutes! It happens more from idiot drivers hitting power poles than anything. We get some wild storms out here too but have had power here while the nearest town would be without it for half the day!
I get crabby doing it too but I'm like you, I enjoy it in a weird way because it's my "chicken time".
tongue.png
That's a good idea about making it so they have to use the nests you give them to use.It sounds like they like to lay their eggs on the ground since that's what all the escapee mamas are doing in the fig trees? I don't know the dimensions of your coop but maybe you could box off a section of a back wall on the floor in the coop and fill it with straw or wood chips and see if they start using that to lay the eggs in. You could even just find a thick straight branch or some logs and use those as a front to it and maybe some shorter pieces in between to make it into sections. Like a ladder on the ground with nesting stuff inbetween the "rungs". Does that make sense? Anyway if you did something like that and left the whole rest of the coop empty-except for their roosting branches of course- they might start laying in the new nest since that's all they have to choose from and it's easy to get in and out of. If you put their roosts like next to it and not in front of it it'd be easy for you to get to the eggs too.Was that confusing? I wish I could draw a picture of what I mean. Oh! I had an idea! Hold on a sec!

Tada! Like I said, I don't know how your coop is layed out so I just drew a square one to give you an idea of what I was talking about. You've got a lot of chickens so you'd have to make it all bigger and longer of course, you could even make the nest area go around the corner and along the other wall a way too. I was thinking you could put your roosts on some tall logs or rocks or something that was a height they like against the other wall. That would give you a nice open spot to walk thru and them a spot inside to scratch around in when the weather is bad. Anyway, just a suggestion! It would keep you from having to crawl thru poop at least! LOL.
tongue.png

I still didn't figure out how that chick is doing that but last night when I went out the poor little thing wasn't up there with them, he was down in the nest box all by its self. I put some of the middle chicks in there with him to keep him warm and cozy. I think Ginger and Georgie are starting to shirk their mama duties! They've been leaving him to fend for himself more and more. He's still smaller than my hand so I wouldn't think they'd be cutting ties with him yet. I'm going to make sure and keep an extra eye on him.
hmm.png

You could charge the tourists to come in and see a "real" chicken exhibit! And sell lucky bags of ducks for souveniers! HAHA! That would be sooo funny!
lau.gif

I ahte fleas too! My Dh really hates them, he gets ate up with them. We put that flea and tick stuff on our dogs once a month when they get their heartworm medicine so we don't get them in the house. She had them in here so bad last year we had to pull out ALL the carpet and spray everything in the house. It was bad.
somad.gif
Poor Felix even got them on him and he's never had fleas. And Buddy IS actually pretty friendly, he's only been around Rinty tho here. I'm not going to tell her he's friendly tho. If it comes down to it I'll just tell her she's not bringing him in my house. Period.
Yeah, all her kids have different dads, there's 3 kids. She isn't even sure about who the dads are for 2 of them. It's sad. She doesn't even know where her daughter is and hasn't talked to her for like 2 years. The daughter was pregnant at like 16 or 17 and last I heard has had 3 total now (with 2 different guys). And I definitely try to keep Evie and Emma away from them as much as possible, and I'd never leave them alone with her. I know this sounds terrible but I think she's jealous of the girls. I don't know why but it's this feeling I get you know. Jimmy thinks so too. I think it's because we pay more attention to them than her when she's here. You can tell she can't stand it when she's talking and they come over and want to show me something or tell me something and I listen to them and don't send them away. She's such a you know what.
tongue.gif

What is it with these chicks and eyes getting pecked this year??? I'm glad you got them separated at least! Maybe it's the little roos that are fighting? I wonder what could have gotten that little chick that was outside the cage? Maybe a stray cat?
More chicks!!!! That is SO funny! I think you need to just build your coop around the fig trees! How are they hiding in them? Are the trees like tangled at the bottoms? I can't believe you have to have someone cut your trees back over it! I'll bet they get a surprise when they do it and chickens come pouring out! LOL
gig.gif
I'v
e got more I was going to say but a storm is coming in quick and I have to go batten down the hatches! I'll be back in a bit! Sorry!

Ugh they do get sooo annoying (the blackouts) , i am in the middle of taking a shower and i have a bunch of shampoo in my hair when all of a sudden the water stops, i get so mad, so i come out of the shower, light some candles and wait for it to come back on, sometimes it doesnt until the next morning but it has never happened when i have shampoo in my hair.
I love your idea, i wanted to draw you a picture of my coop so i got out a piece of paper and started drawing when i realized, how am i going to send it to you, can you tell i didnt get much sleep last night?
tongue.png

You have really nice handwriting, compared to mine it is outstaning!
Well my coop is basically all outdoors except for a little area that is really warm and dry with lots of nest boxes that are easy to get to because i have a door that opens into the nesting room, they also go in there when it is cold outside, there are also some branches in there for roosting but they never use them, they mostly use the ones i have outside, there are also some trees outside.
Ohh poor little chick, he is still pretty young isnt he?
Wow, how can she have three kids from different fathers, that is terrible!
Oh no, how dare you be a good mother and actually listen to your kids.
tongue.png

Most of them look like pullets but i am no expert so i want to post pictures and ask people what they think but without a camera how am i going to do that...
If i did that with the tourist and charged them twenty bucks a duck and 50 bucks to come see the habitat i would be sooooo rich, i would send some money over to you because you came up with the idea and i will also use it to sue the camera people!
lau.gif

Yeah the fig trees are very tangled and have a buch of tall weeds coming out of everywhere but i did manage to get the chicks out, i made a mistake, there are 7 not 6, 6 black ones and one yellow one, they are only like two days old and they are sooooo cute, i will take some pictures with my phone and then when i get my camera i can take pictures of the pictures so that you can see them when they are young!
I got a reallly bad rash from climbing in the fig tree so i took a shower and tried again, can you picture me climbing threw fig trees saying "Here chickie chickie!" Haha, i also got like twenty mosquito bites but it was worth it, now i have 7 extra fuz butts!
I had to make it short to because i am really tired, i got up at 6 this morning so i could try to catch the chicks...
Haha, i find it so strange when people talk about storms in the summer.
Was it a bad storm?

Sorry bout cutting it short yesterday! I had to go out and make sure anything that could blow around was secured and make sure the new kitties were in a dry spot. It's been hot and humid and that storm built up quick. The breeze felt so good tho! Summer is like storm season here. We always worry about tornados and floods. Just the wind can knock big limbs down, one fell on the house last year and broke outsome windows and put a hole in the roof. It ripped the tin roof off my coop last year too. We ended up fixing it somewhat but obviously it didn't hold up since it's leaking like a seive now. I tried putting a tarp over it but it ripped it off too.I got a cool pic of lightning yesterday I'll show you! That something else we worry about too, lightning hits the trees all the time since their the tallest things out here. It can be scary sometimes! I'm glad we have a basement to go in if we have too!

I couldn't believe I got such a good pic of it! The thunder from it rattled the windows!
Did you figure out how the chickens were getting out? I watched last night to see how that chick was getting up there and- of course-it was in the nest again, this time Georgie was with it. I got a pic of it with the flashlight.

It's colors aren't very pretty yet but I'm sure that'll change as it gets filled out. It's in that awkward stage right now!
tongue.png

What a pain! I'd be sooo mad if I was in the middle of a shower and the water turns off! Especially with a head full of soap! How aggravating! We still don't have running water in the house yet(the people who lived here before us cut out all the pipes and sold them as scrap before they moved. They cut out a bunch of the wiring too for the copper. Stupid people. You should have seen this place when we moved in, it was horrid. Dirty and wrecked. ugh.) Anyway, I don't have to worry about the water stopping in the middle of a shower! LOL. It's a pain heating and hauling water to the tub tho!
That's funny, I'm glad you didn't sit and draw up a pic before you realized it couldn't go anywhere! Thanks for saying my handwriting is nice! I have different writing for different things I do, part of being an artist I guess, it looks like chicken scratch when I get in a hurry tho!
lol.png

Your coop actually sounds nice and airy! Your chickens are probably glad to have so much outside room!
It is terrible to have all your kids have different dads! I can see it if you know you were with someone and had kids and it didn't work out and you got remarried you know, but to just have kids with whoever and not even be sure of the who. Jeez. I know, I'm such a horrible person because I put my kids before some crazy person! Oh, the shame! LOL
I can't even figure out if that one chick I have is a roo or not so I'm definitely not the one to ask! I always end up just guessing! When they start getting their adult feathers is when I can tell for sure. Or sometimes their combs give it away-the roos will be redder and bigger before the pullets most of the time. I'm going to post a pic of that hamburg chick on here and see if anyone can figure it out for me.
HAHA, that would be great! You'd be rolling in it in no time! Sue the camera people and make them give you a free one, then you can charge the tourists to get their pic taken with the chickens! And have cups of corn or something for sale and they can buy a cup of food and feed the "wild" animals. People can be so gullible, they'd probably line up for a mile to get in!
gig.gif

Those chickens sure did pick a good place to hide! Your a brave soul to climb thru all the tangles and bugs and such to get them out! I'm not surprised you got a rash from it! We've got these tiny bugs called chiggers here and they get on you and make you itch all over when you so much as brush up against the tall weeds and stuff! Not to mention the ticks and mosquitos! And poison ivy and sumac everywhere.Yes, a brave soul indeed!
big_smile.png
Plus you found another one! It's like a scavenger hunt for chickens at your place! Sounds fun actually! Minus the rash!
tongue.png

Okay, ready for a ghost story? You may not believe in ghosts, but I'll tell you what, If you'd seen or heard even half the things I have you'd be a believer!
th.gif

I'll tell you the scariest one first! OK, so we were living in the trailer down there in the woods-which are spooky enough at night even without anything else going on, the woods are deep and dark and of course we're out in the middle of nowhere-and one night I was sitting in the living room by the window hooting at this owl that lives in one of the trees on the edge of the woods-he always hoots back to me, it's fun(I know I'm strange talking to the animals)-anyway, I'm sitting by the window, Jim's asleep on the couch and Evie(who was just a baby then) was asleep in her playpen and I heard this noise in the front bedroom. I didn't think much at first cause I figured it was a mouse or something in there. Then I heard a loud noise against the back wall in there(the door was shut so it was muffled a bit but I could tell it was by the window) and I kinds sat up and tried to listen thinking that's too big of a noise to be a mouse, maybe a racoon had gotten in. Then, I heard what sounded like some of the boxes in there getting knocked into and THAT got my attention. An animal couldn't have done that, they were much too heavy for that so I thought, "Oh my god, there's someone breaking in!" I sneaked over to Jim and tried to wake him up, I said, "get up and be quiet, there's somone in the house!" I kept shaking him but he wouldn't wake up AT ALL and I started to panic. So I got one of the guns and loaded it as quiet as I could(we didn't have a phone that worked in the trailer, there wasn't a signal or I would have called the police) and I snuck over to the door and the whole time I was doing that I could HEAR it in there like moving stuff around. I thought I was going to have a heart attack my heart was pounding so hard. All I could think of was my baby is in here and I couldn't let whoever it was in there hurt her, you know? And he was just sleeping away on the couch like nothing was happening and I couldn't understand that because he's light sleeper. Anyway, I snuck up next to the door( so whoever it was couldn't see my shadow under the door) and reached out real slow to grab the handle with the gun in my other hand and as soon as I touched the knob, whoever was on the otherside grabbed the handle too and tried to turn it! I held onto it even harder and it was trying to turn it in my hand! I thought, "this is it, someone is in there and I'm going to have to shoot them. don't let go of the knob, don't let go of the knob!" I really was panicking, I couldn't hardly breathe and my heart felt like it was going to pound out my throat. I probably held the knob for less than a minute trying to get my nerve up to open it and the second it stopped trying to turn I turned it and swung the door open as hard as I could and swung the gun in at the same time and that's when I saw it. It was a dark shape up by the ceiling by the wall with the window and it went right INTO the ceiling and was gone! I didn't fire(I'm glad I didn't because it would have blown a hole thru the window if I had) it was like my brain knew there wasn't any point in it. I just stood there for a while trying to figure it out. It wasn't a shadow, we were using oil lamps and they make obvious shadows, plus the room was dark, the curtains still shut, I could see my shadow on the door but there weren't any back by that wall, I even tried moving the door and walking back and forth trying to make the shape I saw and I couldn't. The door knob trying to turn in my hand tho is what I can't find any explanation for except that something was trying to open it. If you had seen that thing that went into the ceiling tho you'd know what I mean when I say it was like dark, but not as dark as the room was. I can see it like it just happened if I close my eyes.

Ok, one more short one! One night I was sitting up waiting for Jim to get home and it was like 3 in the morning(He used to get big jobs that he'd just stay at his grandmas house til it was done so he didn't use so much gas driving back and forth when he had jobs that were in Indianapolis-like 80 miles one way-)So anyway he was supposed to have been back that afternoon and I was getting really worried because he always came back when he said he'd be back and I was thinking he'd had an accident or something and I said out loud, "Please get home soon!" and a few seconds after I said that I heard a woman's voice behind me-in the same room- say, "Don'y worry, it will be alright." Oh man! I jumped up and looked around and said who's there! no one answered and I even got the gun and looked out the windows and everything, no one. I grabbed Evie and took her with me into my room and covered us with the blankets. Stupid I know but it scared me and I was thinking if I couldn't see it it couldn't bother me! I heard her voice clear as a bell and the radio wasn't on so it wasn't that. And just so you know I don't drink or do crazy drugs so all these things happened while I was stone sober! I wasn't hallucinating or anything like that!
SPOOOOKY!
hide.gif
I've got some more good ones but I'll give your ears a rest for now!

Oops! I forgot about the time difference! It was only about 1 oclock here when I wrote that, I wasn't thinking it'd be night when you read it! LOL! Sweet dreams I'm sure!
ep.gif
I should have warned you not to read that before bedtime!
tongue.png

Wow, i havent replied in three days, sorry.
hu.gif

It seems like i never have time anymore...

We are so lucky, we dont have to worry about tornados, a couple of years ago we had a really bad storm and it didnt stop for like three days, that is the only flood that we have had, lots of people said that their chickens drowned, i didnt lose not one of mine because i saw that it was starting to flood so i collected the chickens and put them in a dry place, like any smart person would.
Wow, cool picture of the lighting, lighting always scares me, i take Roxy and go hide in my bedroom, just kidding!
tongue.png

Yeah, i did figured out how they were getting out, there was a little hole by one of the trees in their coop that they could fit perfectly through but i couldnt see it because the tree was blocking it, now i have fixed it, i piled a bunch on rocks in it, i still havent caught all the chickens that got out yet, i see lots of them hedding towards the fig trees.
he.gif

Now that it is summer, i have to work a lot, so i am not going to be on so often, i will read your posts but i just dont have time to reply...
hmm.png

Haha, you call it "the awkward stage" too, that is so funny i do that too, i think she is cute!!
I am pretty sure yours is a girl, i think both of mine are roos, oh well.
You are an artist, that is so cool!
I am actually thinking of starting a business like that, i am sure it would work here with all the tourist.Lol.
Guess what, i think you can guess, i have had two similar stories, yes, i found another hen with her chicks in that dumb fig tree, i havent caught her yet but i think she has three chicks.
My camera should be getting here any time now, when it does i will have lots of pictures to send you.
Holy cow, if anything like that EVER happened here i would be screaming, did you have Rinty then?
Ohhh, the second ghost was a nice one, why did you get scared?
lol.png

Sorry, i have to go again, i would love to hear more spooky ghost stories though!

Horrible, horrible news today! We've been having storms the last week and yesterday it went from bad to the worst! Not only did it flood, but we got wind gusts so strong that it wrecked all kinds of stuff! And worst of all, it blew a section of wall and another part of the roof off my coop. Then the back half of whats left of the roof caved in! On my chickens! I had locked them in so they'd be safe from the winds and rain and it caved in on top of them! I'm just SO upset! I couldn't get to them right when it happened because there was so much stuff blowing around and limbs were breaking, and lightning was striking all around us,plus the girls were screaming and flipping out in here. I ran out as soon as the worst passed but 3 were already gone. I tried to pull out the chunks of wood and metal but it was still pouring rain and the floor in there had inches of slimy mud so I could only do so much. The rain finally stopped this morning so I went out and scraped all the mud out and got what I missed of the debris. I had to lean the trough that's full of dirt and greens for them against the front walls where the wind pulled them from the studs to hold them up. Thev wall boards are 4'x8' plywood and it had them flapping like doggie doors.I put some heavy logs in the front part of the coop that still has part of the roof for them til I can figure out what to do.I got the fence straightned back up too, there were branches and stuff from the yard knocked into it but the posts made it so I was able to pull the fence back up and tie it off. I took this pic this morning after I put the fence back up. I'm just so sad for the ones that died. They were probably scared to death and I feel like it's my fault. We can't even get out of here if we wanted to either. The road buckled on one side and the other is under water. We can't even get to the trailer to see if it made it this time. And my garden! it was doing beautifully and half of it washed away and I'll be lucky if the rest doesn't rot.I've been crying since last night. More for my chickens, I can try and fix everything else but I can't make them live again you know?
400

Anyway, don't feel bad that you can't always reply everyday! I understand about getting busy! I've got A LOT of work ahead of me now so I probably won't be able to get on here as often either. I'll try tho! I sure have enjoyed talking to you! And I'm so excited your getting a camera! I can't wait to see pics!
I'm glad you found where they were getting out! Little sneaks! And more chicks! Holy cow! I wish mine would multiply like yours! That little roo is one of the chickens that died tho so now I'm really going to need to find another roo.
You probably would do really good with your own business where your at! Just the tourists would keep you busy buying from you! You should do it! What kind of stuff do you want to sell?
I was scared by that nice one just because it startled me more than anything. When your out in the woods by yourself at night you get spooked anyway you know. Some nights when I'd be laying in bed I'd hear footsteps down the hall and when I mustered up enough courage to open my eyes and look, I'd see people walking back and forth in the living room. I couldn't see them like you'd see a real person, I'd just see the shape of them. Jim had a dream one night that there was a family living "upstairs". But it being a trailer there wasn't any upstairs of course. I always listen to him tho when he has a dream because sometimes he dreams about something or someone and then something happens that has to do with what he dreamed. Plus, all the land around here used to be Indian land, there's a bunch of burial mounds or ceremonial mounds, I don't know what they were exactly but it makes a person wonder. There's a little shack in the woods there too. Some guy lived in it all his life and died in it.All that's left is the foundation and old walls and stuff that fell in. And, we heard a rumor that the family that owned it way back when had a daughter that came up missing and was never found. To top it off, the farmers around here won't go down that road when it gets full dark, not even to plant or harvest. One told us(and he's a church going, no nonsense kind of man) that one night him and his son were down by the river at the end of the road and they saw lights above them in the field that they can't explain. It scared them so much they never go back there at dark since. Plenty of spooky stories to make a person creeped out! We didn't have Rinty then, I got him as a puppy 2 years ago when someones house burned down the road and they had to find homes for the puppies their dog had right before it happened.
Well, I've got to get back to cleaning up outside so I'll let you go for now. Talk to you soon!

Oh no, that is so terrible!
hit.gif

You know when your friend calls you or something and has bad news, you want to go over to her house and help her, that is what i want to do but we both know thats not going to happen...
It is NOT your fault ok?
You did what you could, you have to think that, dont be mad at yourself, be proud that you could save the rest!
Where any of the others wounded or anything, are Ginger, Georgie and the chick alright?
Would you like me to send you a couple of my roosters?
tongue.png

Could you draw me a picture of what your coop looks like so i have an idea about what to do about the roof, as you see i am eager to help!
Its ok that i cant come over and help you, i can give you advice here.
I have enjoyed talking to you too, i didnt mean that i am not going to talk to you, i just meant i am not going to talk to you as often, you are so much fun to talk to, i feel like we are talking in person or on the phone.
Well, i might actually start the business next year so that i have the whole winter ahead of me to plan things, i dont know what i am going to sell, i want to open it in chick season so that people can play with the chicks, i might even let them keep a couple for their holidays and then bring them back to me when they are going home, that way it is a win-win, i dont have to worry about the little ones and the tourist get to enjoy little fuz butts.I am not sure if i am going to open it but it is fun to plan things, you know?
I am so unorganised, my five older chicks have gotten out of their small coop and are just roaming around because i havent finished their little "space", i havent caught the hen and chicks in the fig tree or all the other chickens in the fig tree, more got out from the hole because they somehow managed to get the rocks to move, i fixed the hole again, i put wire on the inside and rocks on the outside so i dont think any more are going to be getting out any time soon and to top it all off, the little coop that i had for the hen and her 6 chicks caved in.
Now, here is what i have to find time to do, you have to keep telling me to do these things ok?
  1. Catch the five oldest chicks and the 6 younger ones and finish making their space.
  2. Catch all the chickens from the fig trees and put them in their coop.
  3. Fix the little coop for the hen and 6 younger chicks.
  4. Clean the big coop with all the chickens.
  5. Destroy all of their nests and make them use the easy ones.
  6. Build a new coop for all the new chicks.
I know it doesnt sound like much but if you think that i dont have time to reply to you than how am i going to do all of those things, anyways good luck with the cleaning up!
Just so you know, because it is confusing for me to, i have 5 chicks, they are the oldest ones than i have 6 chicks that are still with their mom that are a bit younger then the 5 oldest ones and i think their mom is going to leave them soon, than i have 6 chicks with their mom that are a lot younger than the six older ones, then i have 7 chicks that are with their mom that are like two weeks younger than the others and last but not least i have 3 chicks with their mom in the fig tree still and i dont know how old they are. oh and of course Midnight and Sunshine that are the same age as the 6 younger chicks.
Now, i will have to think of names for the groups so that it is easy to explain.
5 oldest chicks
6 older chicks
6 younger chicks
7 younger chicks
3 lost chicks
2 spoiled chicks
As you see, i am very creative with the names, lol.
