Is it a bad sign for an internal layer/ egg yolk peritonitis?

Where do you live? If you're in the US just go to Tractor Supply or any feed store and get yourself some Safeguard or Panacur (liquid for goats or paste for horses). If you're in Canada, all you can get is the paste for horses.

I don't know anything about these stuff including chickens, so please forgive me if I am asking you a silly question.

Kathy,

Thank you so much. I just ordered the Valbazen at Jeffers Livestock.

Now, I will read your thread carefully and worm her when I get it.

Thank you for everything.

Ah.. I have a question.

Now, I make egg shell powder using a coffee grinder to feed her. Do you think that is a good idea?

And, She doesn't eat her regular food.. Do you know why she doesn't eat it? She eats anything besides fresh fruits/vegetables and her regular food. I am wondering why... She loves oats, flax seeds, yogurt, garlic, and egg yolks etc..

Here is more updates of her droppings, which don't look good.

I found a piece of green plastic in the dropping.

And, I have seen these kind of bright green poop A LOT for a couple days, which doesn't look as same as the first photo on this. but it is the same kind of droppings. Bright green...
I read about the bright green droppings...There are many things go on the hens. but, one of them are a final stage of egg yolk peritonitis / internal layer, which is more likely fits in my chicken's situation sadly.
She is looking good, her eyes are clear, her comb is bright red now, that it was purplish around the edge 5 days ago, but she is losing her feather little by little now.

I wish that my thought were wrong.

Oh, I forgot to answer your question, Kathy. I am living in the U.S.

Here are some more pictures of herself.

Somehow, her abdomen got smaller, I wonder?

And, Here is a silly report what I examined about her droppings under the cheap microscope, I thoght that there are some blood spots on, but I found the same spots on the other chicken Bumpy who is a pendulous chicken, and has not problem besides that. They are not blood then. LOL I wish I could take the pictures and share them with you.

She is crazy about the homemade dried garilc /eggyolks. I am little worried if the garlic makes her stomach upset.

When you get your Valbazen, weigh her on a kitchen scale and give her .2ml of the Valbazen per 1000 grams (1kg or 2.2 pounds). Repeat in 10 days.
