Thanks for posting that Cluckychik! Now i am back to thinking Herc may be a girl......

I guess if he lays an egg that will be the absolute deciding factor and if he crows then that would decide the other way
Why can't they be hatched with tags or pink and blue so you know

Someone told me that they read that females will crow if there is no male to do the job!(that might be happening to me) So even if it crows...

Anyway, by 3 months mine already had the beginnings of some curled sickle feathers, which you can't see in the pic because of the Crepe Myrtle. Since yours didn't have any that I could see, I was thinking pullet too. But I'm, by far, not an expert on sexing chickens!
