Is it a prolapsed vent?

Just tried to push it back in gently and def an egg only a few mm from coming out. Might need an epsom salt bath. Poo is fine and coming out.

Just soak in nice warm water no need for ES the warm water is just to help her relax enough to push the egg out.

Epsom salt might dry them membrane out that’s not what you want,after soaking you can put her on a heating pad wrapped a towel on lowest setting in a box or dog crate in a dimly lit room this can also help them lay. Bath room with hot water running creates steam may help to. If all else fails you can manually try by gently putting a finger in her vent and try an pull the egg out but that would be last resort since egg shell can break.

Okay sounds like a plan, thanks very much.shes has a few soaks and it isn’t really upset by it and now trying to squat a little bit so hopefully it will be out soon

And we have an egg. She’s pretty happy and her vent looks a bit swollen but has gone back in. Thanks for the help I’ll have to keep an eye on her.
