Hi all, I have a small flock of 3 hens.
2 of them are younger just about 20 weeks. Today I noticed 2 black spots in one of the young comb, and 1 spot on the other young chook.

Is it a case of avian pox or any other desease ? Or is it a coagulated blood from a pecking incident?
They are both from a reputable aviary and were sold as vacinated (altough I have no way to check if they actually were and to what desiases)

Any course of action I can take to minimise the spread? They otherwise look healthy and active.
Thanks

I think that it is just a healing wound from when your chickens have had a disagreement. Nothing to worry about. 😊
