That my husband and father-in-law are outside setting up a new coop that my father-in-law just built and I'm already thinking about a bigger and better coop? I've only had my chickens a couple days and I'm already wanting to spoil them.

Not bad at all. I had just finished mine and already I was thinking about the next one... A nice little love shack for the breeding sets. LOL.

I'm in the same boat! After having the coop custom made and run, each chicken is now worth about 260? And my only thought is, the coop is to small now that I want to add some more chickens! I'm giving myself some time for the excitement to wear off, if it does then I know I'm fine. If it gets worse in a couple of months once they start laying, I'll know I'm in trouble!
